Popcorn Kernels : 1/2 cup
Oil : 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder : 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder : 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder : 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Method :
Heat oil in a deep and heavy bottomed vessel and add the corn kernels. Stir continuously until they begin to pop. When they start to pop, half cover with a lid and shake the vessel occasionally on a medium flame until popping stops. When the corn kernels stop popping, remove from the flame. Immediately sprinkle the popped corns with salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and pepper powder. Mix well and store in a air tight container. Serve as a time pass snack.
