March Madness

Thankfully February with its sweltering heat waves is over and March is here, with its promise of cooler days and slightly longer evenings.

Our kitchen has been blessed with the addition of an air conditioner. We have literally worked in temperatures of 40 degrees for days on end.
So we are super glad to have our new addition!

We have a lot happening at the Restaurant starting with our Network breakfast, called "The Avontuur Breakfast Club' Our first guest is  Karl Smith, Networker extraordinare. His theme is ' The only constant is change- adapt or die' His talks are always highly entertaining, educational and motivational. Definitely not one to miss. Network breakfasts are every second Wednesday of the month and is R100.00.

Also this month we have the launch of "Vivavida" a coffee shuttle of note. It took a life crisis to inspire Isabel Grobbelaar, the creator of 'Vivavida', to re evaluate her life.Vivavida was borne and so the 'coffee shuttle' To find out more join us on the 25.3.2011 for the official launch. We will be running a special on the evening - a cheese platter and a glass of wine for R70.00 for those that come to the launch.

On Saturday the 26.3.2011 we will be celebrating the end of the harvest with a "Harvest Feast". We will have our wine maker Jan on hand to chat about the wines, the harvest and the joys of wine making. Price per person will be R165.Booking essential.

Melanie and I have found that one of our passions is not only putting people together as in networking, but we have a great passion for passing on gifts. Not only in the physical sense but also the kind of gifts that empower, educate, motivate and inspire.

From this a new event has been realized and it is called "I am Beautiful" These will be mornings dedicated to fun, spoiling, learning and so much more. We have chosen themes such as "Inspire", Adore", Empower" and so on.

Our first morning will be on the 17.5.2011 and the theme will be "Empower"
